Fabric expansion joints
DEMINAFLEX® Fabric Expansion Joints
DEMINAFLEX® Fabric expansion joints are often used in ducts which carry hot gases at low pressures. The major design parameters are the temperatures and flow rates of the gases and the amount and abrasiveness of solids suspended in the gases. Layers of different fabrics insulation can be combined to accommodate the temperatures and pressure in the system. The fabric belt may need to be replaced periodically.
DEMINAFLEX® Fabric stocks fabrics and insulation for the manufacture of a wide variety of fabric expansion joints with tolerance ranges from low temperatures to 1800˚F. All fabric expansion joint materials comply with Fluid Sealing Association (FSA) specifications. Expansion joints made from elastomeric or composite material are available.
DEMINAFLEX® Fabric expansion joints, non-metallic expansion joints, and frames are fabricated and assembled in-house at our Alabama facilities. Convenient emergency and standard deliveries are available.
The dimension of our both round and rectangular fabric expansion joints are range from DN300 to DN12000. They are usually for low pressure gas transfer application that require significant movement compensation as well. These material are able to accommodate operating temperatures up to 1200℃ and the gas pressures up to 7 bar.
An optional internal accumulation pillow, wrapped in stainless steel mesh, is also available to reduce dirt build up in
applications experiencing high particulate levels.
For larger sizes, such as those used for power plant breaching which above DN5000, will be shipped as assemblies. In
this case, fabrication and final assembly would be completed in the field.
